JobPlanet overhauls main page, moves search to the fore

JobPlanet, a career platform operated by AI and data-based HR tech platform Worksphere, said on Monday it has fully revamped its main home screen to strengthen user experience. The company said the redesign focuses on simplifying the customer journey to reach company reviews, the most-consumed content on JobPlanet. Search has been placed at the front, and job seekers can view postings and review information at once. A new Company Reviews tab aggregates more relevant reviews.

Samsung, LG set record for most awards at Energy Winner Awards

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics set new records for the most awards at South Korea’s largest energy-efficiency awards, the 29th Energy Winner Awards. Samsung won 10 awards, including the top Energy Prize for its Bespoke AI air conditioner and an energy technology award for its hood-integrated induction cooktop. LG won 12 main awards, including three grand prizes for an air conditioner, an e-paper display and a new dishwasher.

Cafe24 says food and beauty sales on D2C malls jump 44 percent and 38 percent in two years

Food and beauty have emerged as key growth drivers in South Korea\'s direct-to-consumer market, Cafe24 said. Based on its shopping mall transaction data for the first half of 2026, food and beauty transaction values rose 43.8 percent and 38.0 percent over the past two years, ranking first and second by growth rate. Both sectors set record highs for five consecutive half-year periods, lifting their combined share to 28.3 percent.
