OB Beer, HiteJinro urge halt to Cheongju recycling sorting center construction
OB Beer and HiteJinro called for construction to be halted and fully reviewed on a planned living resource recovery center, a recycling sorting facility, in the Hyeondo general industrial complex in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. They said they could be forced to consider responses including closing or relocating their Cheongju plants if the project proceeds as it is. The companies cited concerns about odor, dust and bioaerosols and said procedures were insufficient.
