Naver search vs Kakao chats as AI booking race heats up

Naver is expanding its AI tab in search to connect results to maps and real-time reservations, and is disclosing engagement metrics. Kakao is enhancing travel features that begin in KakaoTalk chats and flow to KakaoMap and its booking service. Analysts say it remains to be seen whether these plans will translate into results.

Michael Saylor says \'it needs another color\' as Strategy hints at resuming bitcoin buying
Strategy has not added to its bitcoin holdings for 4 straight weeks, but Chairman Michael Saylor posted a chart of the company’s purchase history and wrote, “It needs another color,” drawing market attention. The firm has disclosed no additional buys in 4 SEC filings since late June. Its latest purchase was 520 BTC in mid-June. Recent filings also highlighted fundraising through MSTR share sales and a larger dollar reserve.

Naver launches AI search \'AI tab\', opens to 50 million users
Naver is rolling out its generative AI-based conversational search service, AI tab, to all users, the company said on Thursday. Users can start AI search with one button from Naver’s main search bar, which draws an average 50 million daily visitors, and the Green Dot entry point on mobile will be replaced. Naver also added features such as in-answer map checks and real-time reservation times, and plans more functions in the second half.
