Gimlet raises $80 million as it targets AI inference bottlenecks with multi-silicon inference cloud
Gimlet Labs, a startup focused on addressing AI inference bottlenecks, has raised $80 million in a Series A funding round, TechCrunch reported. The company has developed a multi-silicon inference cloud that can run AI workloads across different hardware at the same time. It combines traditional CPUs, AI-focused GPUs and high-capacity memory systems. Gimlet Labs said it can boost inference speed while keeping costs and power use unchanged.
