NATO to build shared satellite network HALO with eight member states

NATO has formalised plans for a shared satellite network to strengthen military communications, surveillance and missile tracking. The alliance unveiled the HALO project at a NATO summit defence industry forum in Ankara, involving Denmark, Canada, Finland, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Turkey.
