Samsung Electronics uses titanium dual structure to curb foldable display creases
Samsung Electronics said it has addressed crease and thickness issues in foldable displays by using titanium materials. The company unveiled its Flex Titanium display technology for next-generation Galaxy foldables. The design combines a titanium alloy film and a titanium plate in a dual structure, replacing polymer film. Samsung said it produced the alloy film through an ultra-precision rolling process and applied micro-hole processing to the plate to improve support, flexibility and durability.
