CrowdStrike adds AI agent identity system to block malicious packages before execution
CrowdStrike has added an identity provisioning system for AI agents to its Falcon platform, along with parallel security investigation capabilities and a feature to block malicious open-source packages before installation. The company unveiled the updates at its annual Falcon 2026 conference in Las Vegas. The new Agentic IdP registers enterprise agents in a single directory and assigns cryptographic identities, while a Continuous Identity system determines access. Registration is handled through Falcon Guardian.
