Google Chrome steps up warnings before visiting risky websites
Google has introduced a new security feature in the Chrome browser that warns users before visiting websites suspected of phishing or malware infection. The updated Safe Browsing system adds a new “suspicious site” warning for users who enable Enhanced Protection, while “dangerous sites” continue to trigger a full-screen red alert. Google also upgraded Gemini-based scam detection, shifting to a server-based model and expanding detection to scams posing as fake antivirus or browser updates.

iPhone Duo cannot use existing cases or tempered glass, users urged to check accessory compatibility
Apple\'s foldable smartphone iPhone Duo has limited compatibility with existing iPhone accessories. Many USB-C peripherals and wireless chargers can still be used, but cases and screen protectors require products designed for the foldable form factor and new size. Some MagSafe accessories may cover edges or protrude. Tempered glass films can break when folding, making flexible TPU or PET films an option. Apple Pencil support is limited, and some mounts may not fit.

Google rolls out Gemini Spark AI agent for Chrome
Google has rolled out Gemini Spark, an AI agent that carries out web tasks inside the Chrome browser. Beyond answering questions, it can browse sites, compare prices, make reservations and fill out forms, and it can keep working in the background even if the Chrome window is closed. Use requires Windows 11 or macOS, a personal Google account, a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription, and Safe Browsing set to Standard or Enhanced protection.
