Samsung Electronics adds electricity bill cashback link to SmartThings
Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday it will run a two-month pilot programme, Smart Appliance Cashback, to encourage appliance use during periods of strong renewable power generation. Participants can receive 100 won per kWh, up to 300 won per hour, for using eligible appliances from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends and public holidays. Cashback is provided via electricity bill deductions or refunds and can be linked through the SmartThings app.
