Cloudflare launches AI model that extracts information from emails, receipt photos in under 1 second

Cloudflare unveiled a preview version of its AI model, Cleric, that extracts information from documents and images quickly and at low cost, it said on its official blog on Oct. 19. The company said Cleric can be used on its Workers AI platform and will also be released in an open-weights form that anyone can download. Cleric extracts items such as names, dates and amounts and returns most answers within 1 second.
