Cowin Tech wins 8.5 billion won ESS robot order
Cowin Tech said on Aug. 27 it signed an 8.5 billion won supply contract with local company DFS for assembly robots and autonomous mobile robots for energy storage systems. It will supply dedicated robots to assembly plants of South Korean ESS and battery manufacturers via DFS. The contract runs through February 2027. The company said the order helped diversify its customer portfolio and expects robot orders to grow in South Korea and North America.
