Bitwise files for Uniswap ETF
Bitwise is preparing to launch a Uniswap-based exchange-traded fund, The Block reported on Feb. 5. The company filed registration documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the ETF, which would track the value of the UNI token. Uniswap is an Ethereum-based decentralised exchange. If the SEC approves, Coinbase Custody Trust Company would provide custody. The fund currently does not include staking, Bitwise said.
