Cursor launches India-only plan ahead of SpaceX acquisition, targets local developers

AI coding startup Cursor has launched an India-only subscription plan priced at 649 rupees, about $7 a month, below its $20 Pro plan. The company said this is its first country-specific pricing and cited India as its third-largest market with high power-user density. Cursor said the plan targets demand between free and Pro tiers and includes local rupee billing and UPI payments. The move coincides with SpaceX’s planned $60 billion all-stock acquisition.
