Saylor hints at possible bitcoin sale, warning holding forever could hurt valuation
Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor has publicly raised the possibility of selling bitcoin, drawing renewed market attention. He said some liquidity is needed for the company’s bitcoin holdings to be recognised and used as a long-term asset. Saylor warned that if the market assumes Strategy will never sell, credit rating agencies may find it hard to view bitcoin as a true asset. The comments have reignited debate after earlier remarks following earnings.
