XRPL expands payment functions as Batch V1.1 nears activation on Sept. 29
XRP Ledger\'s major payments upgrade, Batch V1.1, is nearing mainnet activation. The amendment has entered a two-week period in which it must maintain support of at least 80 percent to be applied on Sept. 29. Batch V1.1 would bundle multiple transactions from several accounts for processing within the same ledger close, using an all-or-nothing atomic approach. The feature is expected to broaden use cases including institutional payments, coordinated settlement and multi-party settlement.
