South Korea\'s ICT ministry eyes access to Anthropic\'s Mythos
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT is actively exploring participation in Anthropic\'s cybersecurity consultative body, Project Glasswing. The ministry held a meeting with Anthropic and multiple Korean agencies on AI and cybersecurity cooperation and conveyed broad interest in collaboration, including information sharing on vulnerability disclosures. Prospects remain uncertain due to reported White House opposition to expanding the project and the absence of an MOU with Anthropic. The ministry is also accelerating domestic responses to AI-driven cyber threats.

Bespin Global to hold AI Partners Day 2026 on March 31
AI services and solutions company Bespin Global will hold AI Partners Day 2026 on March 31 at the Grace Hall on the sixth floor of L Tower in Yangjae, with global partners including EY, PwC and Amazon Web Services. The company says AI models adopted to boost productivity are instead increasing operational burdens through greater complexity, higher infrastructure costs and security risks, a phenomenon it calls the productivity paradox. Executives from EY, PwC, AWS and Bespin Global will speak.

KOSA designated as statutory AI promotion body alongside software role
South Korea\'s Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA) has been officially designated a statutory body covering the AI sector, in addition to its existing statutory role in software. The Ministry of Science and ICT announced the designation under the Basic AI Act after KOSA completed the application process and won approval. KOSA, founded in 1988, has recently expanded AI activities and plans to perform roles set out in the law.
