May Korea Engineer Award goes to Yoon Hoon, Choi Jae-hoon
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT named Yoon Hoon of KEPCO Engineering & Construction and Choi Jae-hoon of Noahnx as May winners of the Korea Engineer Award. Yoon developed 3D software for assessing nuclear plant piping damage, cutting work time by 80 percent and winning export and domestic orders. Choi developed a 320-kHz ultrasound nozzle for stent-coating equipment, improving coating performance and supporting exports worth about $2.6 million in 2023.
