More than 8 in 10 office workers use BYOAI, raising need for corporate AI governance
MegazoneCloud said a survey conducted with IT World/CIO of about 600 respondents, including roughly 500 IT workers at South Korean companies, found unofficial generative AI is being used for work in most firms. The report said 86 percent use BYOAI informally. Key reasons included the need for task-specific tools and limits of official tools. Document summarisation led use cases. Only 7.7 percent fully banned BYOAI.
