Amotech to supply MLCCs to global optical communications company
Amotech said it has entered the AI data centre supply chain by stepping up mass production of ultra-high-frequency broadband multi-layer ceramic capacitors used in high-performance optical networks. It said MLCCs are essential for high-speed signal processing in AI servers and optical communications equipment. The company plans to start supplying a U.S. optical communications company in the second half and add higher-priced ultra-broadband products in 2027.
