Tether invests $20 million in Argentina neobank Uala
Tether has invested $20 million in a $197 million funding round by Argentine neobank Uala, Cointelegraph reported. Uala disclosed Tether’s participation when it announced the round in March but did not reveal the amount, the report said. The round was led by Allianz X, and Bloomberg reported Tether’s investment was $20 million. Tether has also expanded investments in Latin America.
