Dropbox to cut 9 percent of workforce
Dropbox will cut about 200 jobs, or roughly 9 percent of its global workforce, as it reshapes its organisation and focuses investment on core businesses. The company will eliminate roles across engineering, product development, design and general administration, with most affected employees leaving on the day of the announcement. Co-CEO Ashraf Alkarmi said Dropbox remains profitable but will concentrate resources on areas with greater customer impact and growth potential.
