Trek to be first to use Bosch\'s new e-bike motor in North America
Germany\'s Bosch has unveiled a next-generation electric bicycle motor that boosts output while reducing weight and size. The updated Active Line Plus motor offers up to 600 watts of power and 60 newton metres of torque, with pedal assistance up to 340 percent. In the United States it will be used on Class 1 e-bikes with assistance up to 20 mph. Trek will be the first brand in North America to adopt it on the Marlin+ e-mountain bike.
