Binance will end its centralised NFT service as of July 3, 2026.
According to a recent report by The Block, NFTs not transferred before 11:59 p.m. on July 3 will become inaccessible on the Binance platform. Non-transferable NFTs, including Binance Academy certificates, will be replaced with PDF certificates.
To encourage early transfers, Binance will refund fees to up to 100,000 users who transfer NFTs other than CR7 NFTs to Binance Wallet between June 3 and 17. It will pay 1 USDC, equivalent to the cost of the on-chain withdrawal transaction, by July 3. A separate period applies to CR7 NFT holders, and they will receive a fee refund if they transfer to BNB Smart Chain by July 3.
The service shutdown comes as an extension of Binance's gradual scaling back of its NFT business. Binance ended support for Bitcoin Ordinals in April 2024 and removed the Polygon network from its NFT marketplace in September 2023.
