Shinhan Bank said on the 27th it launched the SOL Trip&Shop debit card with Shinhan Card for overseas online shopping.
The card expands the bank’s SOL Travel debit card line and is designed for overseas online purchases. It adds benefits for Visa online payments in addition to existing perks focused on overseas in-store spending.
It offers up to 2.5 percent in points on overseas online purchases and foreign-currency cashback for My Select Shop transactions. It also provides 11 percent cashback on Hotels.com payments.
The bank is holding a three-step customer event marking the launch, covering a quiz, card issuance and overseas online shopping.
A Shinhan Bank official said the card was planned for overseas travel and online shopping customers and said the bank will develop it into a global financial service linked to overseas payments, foreign exchange and remittances.
