Wises IT Tech, an end-to-end AI and data platform company, said on Monday it won the National Information Society Agency’s “2026 data management foundation operation and maintenance project”. With the latest win, Wises IT Tech will carry out the project for a seventh consecutive year, starting in 2020.
The project runs for 1 year from January to December 2026 and is worth about 2.69 billion won.
After laying the foundation for a platform capable of data integration and stable management through the first and second phases of the government-wide data platform 구축 projects in 2018 and 2019, Wises IT Tech has continuously performed the data management foundation operation and maintenance project since 2020. It has built up operational experience supporting a data-driven administrative system by running key data management systems and handling outages and performance improvements, including the government-wide metadata management system, the integrated quality and standards management system, the National Shared Data Platform and the agency shared data management system.
In this project, Wises IT Tech plans to carry out work including stable service provision for major data management systems, expanding automatic linkages between systems, upgrading the automated data collection system, supporting quality and standards management and data-driven administration evaluations, and providing operational support to expand the sharing and use of agency data. It plans to do so based on an integrated operating system that covers operations, linkage, evaluation and dissemination areas.
Wises IT Tech Chief Executive Kim Dasan said operating the government-wide data management system is a key element supporting the reliability of data-driven administration. He said the company will do its best in 2026 to provide stable services and enhance the value of data use, based on the build-out and operating experience it has accumulated.
