Albamon says main job applications up 350 percent in three months after AI-led app revamp

Part-time job platform Albamon on May 11 released results from the three months after a full redesign of its app main screen. It said applications to job listings on the main screen rose about 350 percent from before the overhaul.

The company said the revamp provides personalised listings with an AI solution applied. It also simplified new sign-ups and the resume-writing process, focusing on improving the efficiency of part-time job searches.

In the past three months after the revamp, applications increased. The click-through rate (CTR) for new home listings rose 170 percent, while the application conversion rate (CVR) increased 110 percent.

An Albamon official said moving away from a search-centred job-seeking method and proposing AI-based personalised listings regardless of login status delivered meaningful results. The official said the upgraded user experience for users familiar with the mobile environment is receiving favourable reviews.

The company also emphasised that introducing a simple mobile resume for members with limited part-time job experience or no resume increased user satisfaction.

Kim Yo-seop (김요섭), chief technology officer of Worksphere, Albamon's operator, said the results came from shifting the way job seekers find and apply for part-time work toward AI-based personalisation, not simply changing the screen layout. Kim said the company will continue to enhance the accuracy of AI-based recommendations and the service user experience, and will build a faster and more intuitive experience from browsing through applying.
