The Ministry of Science and ICT's Postal Service is running a "Korea Post Savings customer appreciation promotion" for Family Month in May through June 30.
The promotion targets customers who sign up for time deposits or newly arrange for salaries or pensions to be paid into a post office account. It also offers an opportunity to participate if a Korea Mom Insurance subscriber opens a new post office demand deposit account.
During the event period, the Postal Service will draw about 900 participants to receive prizes including gold bars, Shinsegae gift certificates and air purifiers. Winners will be announced on Sept. 11.
Postal Service chief Park In-hwan (박인환) said, "To mark Family Month, we prepared this promotion to offer benefits to customers who value Korea Post Savings." He added, "Going forward, we will contribute to improving the public's financial welfare through customized products for each life stage and provide stable financial services."
