Canva is sustaining growth after surpassing $4 billion in 2025 annual recurring revenue (ARR) through adopting AI and integrating with large language models (LLMs), TechCrunch reported on Tuesday. Monthly active users topped 265 million, and paid users reached 31 million. Its enterprise B2B business grew 100 percent from a year earlier, posting $500 million in ARR.

Canva is maintaining strength in the North American market while introducing low-cost subscription models in emerging markets such as Pakistan, Uruguay, Morocco and Jamaica to expand paid users. Its AI-based website creation tool is spreading quickly, with more than 10 million people using it each month.

Canva is also actively pushing integration with chatbots such as ChatGPT and Claude. Cliff Obrecht (클리프 오브레히트), Canva's co-founder and chief operating officer, said, "Just as we secured early traffic through Google search, we are using LLMs as a new entry route."

Canva is also focusing on LLM-based search optimisation. Obrecht said, "Search is an important entry route, but traffic through LLMs is growing to a double-digit share," and added, "We are concentrating resources to increase Canva exposure within chatbots."

Canva was recently valued at $42 billion and plans to pursue an IPO within a few years.
