KB Kookmin Bank said on Wednesday it will roll out its tax refund support service, "Get Your Tax Refund," for small business customers on KB Star Banking from March 18.

The service helps sole proprietors apply for tax and labour benefits that are easy to miss. It was set up through a partnership with Taxtinum, the first spin-off in-house venture at KB Financial Group and a tax refund platform company for small business owners.

Since it was first introduced on KB Star Corporate Banking in June last year, subscribers have exceeded 50,000 as of end-December 2025, drawing a positive response from small business owners. The service will now also be available in "Sajangnim+," a dedicated space for small business owners within KB Star Banking.

Using the service, customers can check tax and labour benefits related to employment growth remotely and free of charge. They can then apply at once for the estimated refund calculated after the check. It also provides guidance on employment subsidy programmes for business owners who hire workers from vulnerable groups, including young people and women returning to the workforce, contributing to social value creation.

Lee Kyung-gu (이경구), CEO of Taxtinum, said the combination of KB Financial Group's inclusive finance infrastructure and Taxtinum's tax and labour expertise will help more business owners receive benefits directly, including tax, employment subsidies and policy funding support.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said Taxtinum's growth is an example of employees' innovative ideas leading to social value creation. The official said the bank will continue to provide active support under its inclusive finance approach.
