Neptune said on Monday it has supplied its enterprise chat solution, Clat, to Kiwoom Securities' mobile trading system (MTS) YeongungmunS#.
With the introduction of Clat, Kiwoom Securities has implemented a chat service that enables real-time communication among investors by stock. YeongungmunS# users can trade stocks, check information and join stock discussions within YeongungmunS# without needing to install or switch to a separate chat app.
Clat is a solution that has completed market verification for large-traffic processing technology, and it is characterised by a high level of stability and reliability required for securities services. Based on this, it provides a chat infrastructure without delays even in environments where concurrent users concentrate.
Neptune Chief Executive Kang Yul-bin (강율빈) said the adoption of the chat solution through Clat by Kiwoom Securities was the result of recognition of the company's technology and stability in the chat API market, where major overseas companies are competing. He said Neptune will continue to provide solutions optimised to customer needs across various industries, including finance as well as commerce and content.
