Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, said on Jan. 2 it released a campaign video welcoming the 2026 New Year on Jan. 1, the first day of the year.
The campaign video carries a warm message of people encouraging one another at the starting line of 2026, using a concept of delivering “bok,” a symbol of the new year.
The 22-second video shows everyday scenes of various people, such as family and friends, along with pets, within a mobile phone frame. It then greets viewers with a delivery-complete pop-up message reading, "A New Year's fortune has been delivered to everyone," alongside a sunrise screen meaning the new year.
Earlier, Baemin declared "Baemin 2.0" after Kim Beom-seok took office as chief executive last year. It changed its app icon to a more intuitive form and carried out a bold user interface (UI) overhaul.
A Baemin official said, "We wanted to deliver New Year's greetings in Baemin's own way, based on the essence of the business of being a delivery platform." The official added, "In the new year as well, we will continue new activities that allow us to communicate with various stakeholders by making full use of Baemin's value."
